So we got a trailer, gameplay footage, and some screenshots for Xenoblade Chronicle 2 at E3 2017. Then Gamescom 2017 happened, and Nintendo decided to ‘tease’ fans for more of the game’s gameplay footage. A 50 minutes long gameplay footage!! It feels like watching a real playthrough, is it not? But it only shows the game’s new contents and areas—combat and explorations. We can also see the relationships between the drivers and blades, though. You can watch it below.
A quick reminder, Xenoblade Chronicle 2 tells a story about a young man named Rex who travels with his sword which can transform into a young girl named Pyra, in search for the sword-girl long lost home, Elysium; the ultimate paradise for all humanity.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is planned to release this holiday for Nintendo Switch.
