In this week’s issue of Jump Magazine, Square Enix has announced that Quistis Trepe from Final Fantasy VIII will be joining World of Final Fantasy, along with other FF VIII characters like Squall Leonheart. Quistis will be voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro, while Squall will be voiced by Hideo Ishikawa.

Other than those two characters, Square also announced that a new character named Chocolatte (voiced by Seiko Ueda) will appear and selling items around. Seed’s Headquarter, a military squad from the Final Fantasy VIII, will also make an appearance in this game.

World of Final Fantasy is a new chibi-styled Final Fantasy game with new original protagonists: The twins Reynn and Lann, in a world known as Grymoire.

The game will feature classic RPG gameplay style. You will meet with a lot of other Final Fantasy characters from various series, befriending monsters, and take them to the battles.

World of Final Fantasy will be released on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita for Japan on March 17, 2016. No information so far for the western release.
