World End Syndrome Japanese Release Date Officially Revealed!

Remember when the romance mystery Visual Novel World End Syndrome has a release date, and were delayed to this year Summer? Well, guess what? Arch System Works finally revealed the Japanese release date on their website!

The wait is partially over for you who still want to get it despite having no localization announcement. You can finally mark your calendar, and save money for it. Also for those who don’t know what kind of VN is World End Syndrome, below is the summary.

The story takes place in a seaside town called Mihate, where the protagonist is transferred to a new school and joins the Mystery Research Club. He hears on a radio talk show about a local legend that sees the dead revive every 100 year. The dead who return to the world are known as the “Yomibito.” With the case of a missing high school girl, some think of it as some kind of omen for the return of the Yomibito.

One day while at a barbecue with the Mystery Research Club, they discover a bag of the missing girl. Her body was found in the river a few days later… this is the year that appears once every hundred years.

Quite the mystery and a bit horror, no? Interested to buy one so you can know the full story?

World End Syndrome will be available for PlayStation 4PS Vita, and Nintendo Switch on August 30th, 2018 in Japan.
