Visual Novel Root Letter Gets Pen Pal Collector’s Edition

Rice Digital recently announced that PQube‘s mystery Visual Novel √Letter (Root Letter) will have an exclusive Pen Pal Edition! The collector’s edition will be priced at $89.99 for PS4 and $79.99 for PS Vita. Besides the game, the Pen Pal Edition will also contain the following:

  • Premium Artbook as released in Japan, but fully localised into English.
  • Official Root Letter Soundtrack
  • Fumino Aya’s letter and envelope set as featured in Root Letter
  • Minoboshi Taro Giclée Print on Hahnemuhle paper
  • Fumino Aya Handbag presentation box

Root Letter - Collector Edition√Letter (Root Letter) is the first entry of Kadokawa Games‘ series of mystery games. It’s a thrilling youth mystery where the player will investigate the case of Fumino Aya, a girl who suddenly disappeared after receiving a mysterious letter. The gameplay will be divided into 2 parts; the first is when the player searches for clues of Aya’s disappearance, and the second is when the player relives past interactions with Aya. The game also features multiple endings, based on player’s choices. Check out the official description!

√Letter (Root Letter) will be released for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on June 16th in Japan, and at later date in 2016 for the US and Europe version.
