The latest weekly issue of Famitsu just revealed that C’s Ware is releasing a visual novel remaster! The new title will be called Desire: Remaster Version, and it will be available for both PS Vita and PC on April 27, 2017 in Japan. It will feature a digitally remastered version of the original images used in the Sega Saturn version of the game, as well as additional animations and game scenes. Check out the magazine scan below.
Desire is a sci-fi story revolving around a research institute called “Desire”, rumored to have a military secret. Albert Macdgul, one of the few journalists who were granted access to “Desire” met a mysterious girl named Tina that suffers from a memory loss. A chaotic mystery ensues. The classic visual novel features a linear plot with map movement interactions. A bit of warning though, it contains several adult scenes. The development of the remastered version is currently 30% complete. The PC version will be priced 5,700 yen, while the standard version on PS Vita will be priced 6,800 yen and the digital version will be priced 5,800 yen. The first-print limited edition for both version will be priced 7,800.
