Here comes the update from a certain tactical-RPG which has an army-thingy combat. Don’t be surprised, mateys.
Sega has announced that their game entitled Valkyria Chronicles 4 was delayed to be released from its original schedule as reported from Sega Fes Expo in Japan. The delay will be until this year’s Fall, and they released other interesting info besides this disappointing news, thankfully.
As they delay the game, they re-release the game entitled Valkyria Chronicles for Switch and will be priced 1,990 yen (refer to this post for the news.) However, there is a chance that you will get this game for 500 yen IF they purchase the initial print of the game (the one coin price in Japan only.)
Aside from the delay, for you who already had the game (obviously, for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One), the company will release the DLC known as Opposing Valkyria which will be available on April 19th for 1,500 yen. This DLC will give you a chance to meet Original Valkyria named Selvaria Bles. As a bonus, you will be able to play as Crymaria which will be in Grenadiers class. Refer to this post for the DLC’s detail.
Here is a brief look for the DLC’s trailer:
Anyway, you got the bad news as well as the good news, mateys! So, enjoy the game on the first two consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) before playing it on Nintendo Switch!
Valkyria Chronicles 4 is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One. The game was delayed and will be available for Nintendo Switch on Fall 2018. The game will also available in the west on Fall 2018 (NA and EU) and on Spring 2019 for Australia.
