If you loved South Park: The Stick of Truth which was released back in 2014, you might like this one too. Ubisoft announced a sequel to the game, titled South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Unlike the prequel where the cartoon characters role-play as fantasy heroes, they are role-playing as superheroes. Check out the trailer below for a glimpse of the game.
Remember when you played South Park: The Stick of Truth as the new kid and regardless of the name you choose, you were still called Douche Bag? You’ll be playing as Douche Bag again in the sequel. You can choose what kind of superhero you want to role-play as in the game, such as Brutalist, Speedster, and many more.
During Ubisoft’s press conference at E3 2016, South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker showed more details about the game, including the new tactical combat system.
They also announced that South Park: The Stick of Truth, which was initially only available for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, is now available for PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In addition to that, you can pre-purchase the game starting today, and by doing so, you will get a free copy of South Park: The Stick of Truth for the respective platform, which means, if you pre-purchase South Park: The Fractured But Whole for PlayStation 4, you will get a copy of the prequel for free for your PlayStation 4.
