Target Acquired is a Megaman-inspired endless runner developed by Touchten Games, a game developer company from Indonesia who is in charge of some smartphone game titles like Ramen Chain and Infinite Sky. Previously, it was brought on Kickstarter in 2014 and successfully hit 204% from the initial target fund of US$ 10 thousands.
According to a local news, Target Acquired has been featured at the global Google Play Store and receive almost 20k downloads in the first 24 hours of it being featured.
In this game, you are playing as Yura Anders, a ‘catwoman’ police from Nekomipolis Police department. With the help of her companion, Spike Tomerry, you are tasked to capture the genius villain Cammy Lyuka and her bad army of robots.
By mixing the shooting and endless runner genre, this game provides you with two playing modes: Normal Mode in which you just play in an endless run until Yura is defeated; and Boss Mode in which you play against a boss to unlock new mission, location, or even another boss. There are various events, hundreds of costumes and some unique abilities to make the game even more interesting.
Another noticeable thing about this game is the music. Touchten Games has cooperated with Brainwave Production to hire the Megaman music composer to arrange the music, Manami Matsumae. 8 soundtracks in this game were arranged by Manami.
