After decided to re-port the Vita-exclusive RPG, SaGa Scarlet Grace to PS4, Switch, PC and smartphones. Via Dengeki PlayStation, Square Enix revealed that the re-ported versions will get new characters along with new voices, as detailed below.
The brand-new characters are the following:
- Camellia (CV: Mie Sonozaki)
- Savitt (CV: Kazuma Horie)
- Poet (CV: ???)
The four main characters are also getting new voices for the upcoming versions.
- Urpina (CV: Maaya Uchida)
- Leonardo (CV: Yuma Uchida)
- Thalia (CV: Atsuko Tanaka)
- Balmante (CV: Taiten Kusunoki)
Other than that, the re-ported versions will as well have improved graphics, party composition function, a new event written by series creator Akitoshi Kawazu, and battle content made for advanced players.
New Characters Trailer
Still quoted from Dengeki PlayStation, regarding the Vita version update, Kawazu-san stated that they were designing [SaGa Scarlet Grace] for new platforms, so moving it to the PS Vita was difficult. First they would expand on consoles and smartphones and from there they would consider if there were anything they could do on PS Vita.
The standard edition of the game on PS4 and Nintendo Switch will be available for 5,800 yen plus tax. The same price goes for the PC version except it will be digital only. The game will also release for smartphones at 4,444 yen plus tax.
Limited Box Version
The Limited Box version will be available exclusively through the Japanese Square Enix e-Store for 19,980 yen on PS4, Switch, and PC. It consists:
A 352-page special art book by Tomomi Kobayashi.
A special Sound Selection CD featuring various tracks from SaGa: Scarlet Grace containing about 15 to 20 tracks.
A 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle.
The Limited Box also includes a code for the PC browser game Imperial SaGa and an original postcard with an illustration by Tomomi Kobayashi.
