After launched Project Octopath Traveler demo September last year and got various feedback. Square Enix was being busy doing some improvements. And finally during Nintendo Direct, they announced its release date. The game is exclusively coming to Nintendo Switch this July 13th. Moreover, there are more interesting updates.
- New Characters
First is Tressa the merchant who can purchase goods from townsfolk and other NPCs and Alfyn the apothecary who comes with the “Inquire” special action.
- Character’s Job
Every character may starts with its own job, but the game allows them to acquire the second job that will come handy in battles.
- Special Edition
Project Octopath Traveler will have a special edition which includes the game, a pop-up box introducing the eight playable characters, a book, a map, a soundtrack CD, and a replica coin based on game’s currency.
