Pokémon Sun and Moon will Have Rotom Pokédex and QR Scan Feature!

Pokémon Sun and Moon will have Rotom Pokédex

After releasing the information about the legendaries and characters, the official website of the Pokémon Sun and Moon has released more information about some new cool features in the game. You will have a Rotom Pokédex, and the game will also implement QR Scanner feature!

The information below are mostly taken from the website.

The Pokédex is a convenient tool that records information about the Pokémon you see and catch during your adventure. Interestingly, the Pokédex in the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will be modified greatly apart from the previous entries.

Your hero receives a special Pokédex from Professor Kukui to support you in your travels. It’s known as the Rotom Pokédex, and it’s inhabited by Rotom, a Pokémon with the power to reside in various electronic appliances.

It does much more than record Pokémon info—it sparkles with its own personality. The Rotom Pokédex shows your current location and your next destination, and it also gives you advice on where to go next, based on the conversations you have with others! It’s likely to be of great help to you in many parts of your adventure.

You can see the Rotom Pokédex footage in the end of the previous released trailer.

QR Scanner

QR Scanner is a new feature that will be implemented in the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. When using the feature, you can see Pokémon information when scanning QR Code patterns. There are various QR Code in various places all around you, so try around scanning them!

By scanning in special QR Code patterns you can register Pokémon of the Alola region to your Pokédex and find out where they live. If you scan in the QR Code for a Pokémon that you haven’t yet caught, you can check its habitat and search it out.

You can also display the QR Code patterns for Pokémon you have caught in your own Pokédex. If you and a friend show each other the QR Code patterns for Pokémon you have caught, you can both register the Pokémon in your Pokédexes! Such a neat feature, isn’t it?

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will be released for Nintendo 3DS on November 18, 2016. The game will be released worldwide at the same time globally. See all post related to Pokémon here, or check out the Starters information here.
