During the Nintendo‘s Treehouse livestream in the E3 event, Game Freak shares an exciting announcement for the fans! Pokémon GO launch date will be set to July 2016, although there is no confirmation for the exact date yet. The game will have the first generation Pokémon available, and will added more through updates in the future.
They also mentioned that the above wearable gadget Pokémon GO Plus will be available in the store sometime later in the late July for US$ 34.99. The gadget will alert you when a Pokémon is nearby.
Lastly, Pokémon GO will be compatible with future Pokémon titles. However, this won’t start right away because they want the players to be familiarized with the smartphone game first.
As an additional information, Niantic through their blog has shared that they have added a new Camera feature. You can take some nice photos when encountering wild Pokémon. Perhaps you can also taking selfies when encountering them 🙂
