Persona 5 Cooperation Characters & Ninth Party Member Are Revealed!

Persona 5 Crow is Revealed as Goro Akechi

During their livestream at E3 2016, Atlus has shared other important information such as Persona 5 cooperation characters and the ninth party member. Demon negotiation system will come back too, and you can see it in our previous report here.

Persona 5 Ninth Party Member: Goro Akechi

The ninth and last party member (originally nicknamed as ‘Crow‘) in the Phantom Thieves group is a high-school detective boy named Goro Akechi (Note: P5’s Naoto?). There isn’t much information revealed such as his Persona or why he become party member later in the game. His Voice Actor is Soichiro Hoshi.

Cooperation characters are some people with various special abilities and skills. The protagonist and his friends can meet them in the city, school, or other places.  By building trust and a mutual relationship, you can establish a ‘Co-op‘ relationship with them (similar to Social Links in Persona 3 and 4). Also, their abilities will be an advantage to help your life as Phantom Thief.

So far, there are 3 cooperation characters that have been introduced: Tae Takemi, Munehisa Iwai, and Sojiro Sakura. Check out the trailers for them below:

About Dual Audio Setting

For the localization in US, the game will only feature English audio. Some fans who prefer to have a Japanese voice dub make a petition about the existence of the Dual Audio setting. So, people can enjoy their preferred voice setting.

Regarding this, the PR for Atlus has given a tweet about the possibility for the Dual Audio setting. Take a look of the tweet below:

Persona 5 will be released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on September 15 this year in Japan and February 14, 2017 in US. Read all post related to Persona here.
