So, we’ll be having Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5 Dancing Star Night for both Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita, but still only in Japan. The announcement came with the first batch of screenshots followed with another screenshots, and the release date. But, apparently Atlus still have yet another batch of screenshots for us! Each came with some information. This time, we got no screenshots (please don’t be sad). Only a few more information about one of the games feature, and it was revealed in this week’s Famitsu.
Both Persona 3 and Persona 5 have Social Links; a feature that became the game’s uniqueness since Persona 3. Unfortunately, it won’t present within these dancing spin-off. The feature was replaced with a mode called “Social Link” which also has some mini events that could be unlocked after clearing some tasks. Additionally, you can also earn some costumes here.
This mode starts with the protagonists and party from both Persona 3 Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5 Dancing Star Night entering the velvet club room. They will be greeted by their own respective Igor’s assistant; Elizabeth for Persona 3, Justine and Caroline for Persona 5, and tell them there will be a dance party. It will make the party to be half-forced into taking new challenges.
That’s all the info that’s been revealed to us. Let’s wait for another, including the western release, if Atlus planned to do so.
We got some updates for Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night! Mainly they’re a little bit details for the story, and a HUGE batch of screenshots!!
Yes, you read that right. Screenshots. Lots of screenshots. Who’s excited to (finally) see some more screenshots? But, before going there, let’s talk about the tidbits for the story.
Previously we said that the Social Link mode starts with the protagonist’s team get dragged into the velvet room, meeting Igor’s assistance(s), and forced to dance. Guess what? It is actually the start of the story! Not the Social Link mode! Sorry for the incoveniences.
Above are Elizabeth who call herself as Eli-P and the twins. Below are the team members’ response. They don’t really look that excited to dance, huh…?
Moving on, we also got to see a little bit about the UI system while showing two of each games’ characters with or without ‘unique’ costumes alongside some gameplay.
By the way, those costumes are what you can get in the Social Link mode. Below are a list of what costumes you can also get. But, they’re pretty much the usual uniform from each game that the characters use everyday. Don’t worry, tho, because the game has more cool and ‘unique’ costumes!
The screenshots don’t end here, my friends. We still have more screenshots to share to you guys. Next we’ll show two members from Persona 3 ad 5 Dancing in action wearing a cool costumes respectively! Check ’em out!!
