Nintendo Announced Western Release for Monster Hunter Stories, Yo-Kai Watch 2: Shinuchi, and Miitopia!

Great news today! Because Nintendo has announced to give western release for three games in one day! Excited, no? Because you will finally be able to play these games once it offically released! Want to know more about the games? We have just the right information to give to you!

  • Miitopia

Nintendo Announced Western Release for Miitopia, Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters, and Monster Hunter Stories!

The class-based Mii RPG that previously only available in Japan since December 8th, finally gets western release later this year both in Europe and North America. While some details can be found here, we still provide you with a little overview and Miitopia’s features!

Mii™ characters based on your favorite people must unite to do turn-based battle and save Miitopia! Cast them in roles across the kingdom, manage friendships, and give them jobs with distinct stats, abilities, gear, and a custom look. Then behold as awesomeness unfolds! For more customization options, try tapping compatible amiibo™ figures: some yield in-game Mii costumes based on the characters tapped, while others offer tickets to play mini-games in the arcade. Talk about a win-win!

  • Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters

The famous Yo-Kai Watch series gets another western release for one of its installment! Yo-Kai Watch 2: Shin’uchi that is renamed into Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters as the western title. It will launch sometime this Fall in North America.

Now, what difference does the Pyschic Specters have from the other two Yo-Kai Watch 2 installment; the Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls?

If you know and love the first movie of this series, then you will be happy to know that the Psychic Specters installment have a new story that links to that movie! You can even befriend the 5 Dark Ronin or “Kaima” and other rare Yo-Kai exclusively in this installment! It even have some new quests to befriend these rare Y-Kai! Excited, isn’t it?

  • Monster Hunter Stories

Nintendo Announced Western Release for Miitopia, Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters, and Monster Hunter Stories!

Another Japan only game that will get a western release! Monster Hunter Stories that is a Monster Hunter series spinoff with a different vibe from the original game will launch sometime this Fall both in North America and Europe.

In this game, you will not get intimidate by the monsters’ appearance, because the art style makes them adorable! Even the Khezu looks adorable. More details about the game can be read here and here.

Unfortunately, we don’t have an overview about the game especially its story, but we do know that you will be taking the role of Rider instead of Hunter, and can battle alongside your monster companion that is called Otomon, the monster that can be the protagonist’s companion. You can even explore while riding your monster! The battle system is an RPG turn-based. Other features of the game are hatching eggs, befriending monsters, executing special Bond attack moves, customizing your monsters’ abilities and appearance, and a multiplayer fetaure.

 

Miitopia, Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters, and Monster Hunter Stories is available for Nintendo 3ds in Japan, and will available later this year both in North America and Europe. You can look for more Monster Hunter series here.
