Last year, we get to know about NieR: Autoamata first western DLC. Then, recently there’s an announcement about NieR: Orchestra Concert that will be held in Japan this September. Following the news, Square Enix gave us another announcement regarding the game getting yet another re-port in their official website. After the original PlayStation 4 and PC, they are planning an Xbox One version. Also at the recent E3, NieR: Automata director Yoko Taro, producer Yosuke Saito, and designer Takahisa Taura mentioned a possible Switch version too!
Let’s talk about the Xbox One version first, since the Switch is still a future possibility.
The name will have a tail, NieR: Automata Become as Gods Edition. Maybe it’s not a real tail (if you know what i mean), but it’s still longer than the original. We also get to see the art and trailer from E3.
You can only get it on Microsoft Store with cost around $49.99 and already includes some DLCs:
- Base NieR: Automata game ($59.99 value)
- The 3C3C1D119440927 expansion DLC ($13.99 value)
- Grimoire Weiss Pod
- Retro Red Pod Skin
- Retro Grey Pod Skin
- Cardboard Pod Skin
- The Machine Lifeform Mask Accessory
Yes, it will availaible on June 26th, but you can pre-order it now, if you want, and if you are curious how the game will look like on Xbox One, there’s a gameplay showcase at the same event. Originally a live stream video, Dualshockers has provided us the gameplay clip and a conversation mentioning Switch version, but it feels like a joke…? I don’t know. What do you guys think?
