Previous announcements of Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom are mostly about a PC version, and a trailer that shows some gameplay. Today we got a super exciting news for it, and as the title said, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom release date is finally confirmed for both PC and Playstation 4!
But, before we go to the date, here’s a little overview from Bandai Namco.
Explore a beautifully crafted world and experience a gripping story in an all-new RPG adventure. Famed Japanese developer, Level-5, reunites with former Studio Ghibli artist, Yoshiyuki Momose, for character design, and Joe Hisaishi for music composition in the production of the next Ni no Kuni tale. In the world of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, players enter the kingdom of Ding Dong Dell, where cats, mice, and humans once lived in harmony. After a treacherous coup, Evan, the boy king of Ding Dong Dell is banished from his kingdom. Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom recounts the story of this deposed king and his journey to build his own kingdom and unite the entire world.
If you haven’t guess it already, and haven’t know about the prequel, you can really expect most of Studio Ghibli elements in this game. Especially the arts and musics. So, fans of the studio, be sure to check the game when it comes out! You’ll love it, even though they don’t really participate in the production of this game. Kinda sad, isn’t it?
