Final Fantasy XV
If you remember, Final Fantasy XV has come a long way—year to today, and it’s still growing with its DLCs! One might say, it takes 10 years to make, yet it’s still not complete with how many DLCs it has. The director was said to have a part in Final Fantasy XV DLC project till 2019, but a sudden and shocking announcement was out before 2019 starts. Hajime Tabata decided to resign on October 31st, 2018 , with Episode Ardyn DLC is still in production and set to release on March 2019. This makes all others DLCs to get canceled.
Kingdom Hearts III
Moving along from Final Fantasy XV‘s sad news is Kingdom Hearts III good news! It’s nearing the game’s release date, January 29, 2019 (next month!!), and it got a cinematic trailer that includes almost all of its trailer. There’s also an announcement for a Deluxe Edition that will be available at the same time with the game’s release, but can be pre-order now. There’s also a special bundle which includes Sora, Goofy, and Donald’s figure that will come along the Deluxe Edition.
New Games Announced
Hunter x Hunter: Greed Adventure
For Hunter x Hunter fans, there will be a game for it by Bandai Namco, and will be available in Smartphones.
Nippon Ichi Software announced a new RPG! Destiny Connect is the name, and it will be available in Japan on February 28,2019 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Colopl announces they are developing a new beautiful RPG for smartphones, Project Babel.
Mega Miracle Force
Idea Factory 25th anniversary is going to be full of waifus with their upcoming crossover game, Mega Miracle Force, for smartphones.
Release Date Revealed
Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland
A new trailer is out for Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland that accompanies the game’s release date, March 20, 2019.
Nelke and The Legendary Alchemists
Another atelier game, Nelke and The Legendary Alchemists also got its official western release date, March 26th, 2019 in the US, and March 29th, 2019 in Europe. Also worth noticing, the game’s Japanese release was delayed to January 31st, 2019
Re-port / Remastered
Record of Agarest War Marriage
Idea Factory International announced Compile Heart and Felistella-developed RPG, Record of Agarest War Marriage will have a western release for Switch. The game will include English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese subtitles. No clue for new additions nor specifics on what is being enhanced or changed in the port. We will just have to see until the Steam page is created later.
Work x Work
Via this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine, FuRyu announced their last month Switch exclusive RPG, Work x Work, will also be available for PlayStation 4. Furthermore, the game’s three paid DLC that was available on Switch will come included as part of its pre-order in Japan. And you can have the game by only 4,980 yen.
Localization to English Announced
Death end Re;Quest
As expected, Death end Re;Quest finally has its Western release date in both North America and Europe. Idea Factory International, gave two different dates for these regions, while NA will experience on February 19, 2019, the EU will have to wait a few days until February 22, 2019. Furthermore, it will have English and Japanese voice acting options to go with its English subtitles.
Varnir of the Dragon Star
After Death End re;Quest, now Varnir of the Dragon Star will also has its English localization. They will change the title a bit into Dragon Star Varnir. Will be playable exclusively for PlayStation 4 in both North America and Europe sometime on the next spring. The game will feature both English and Japanese voice-overs, with English subtitles. A physical release will also available.
World End Syndrome
As anticipated, Arc System Works finally announced the localization of World End Syndrome. This mystery visual novel game will hit PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe sometime on spring of 2019.

Via its Steam page, Semisoft announced an update for Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Faterounds. You can surely expect for major improvements. In the battle system, they improved the dynamic angles and impact effects to make your characters even cooler. In graphic, they have improved the better details on the 3D model textures. They also gave newly rewritten and polished script in its entirety, and there’s many more.
Pokemon Let’s Go
The recent news comes from Pokemon game series, where its main director, Junichi Masuda, might directing his last game for the upcoming Pokemon Let’s Go! Previously Pokemon Let’s Go! revealed two trailers that highlight some scary stuffs and a new feature. Then recently, the official Pokemon’s website got to interview with the director, and he shared many things. They are mainly discussing the game’s production—technicalities and inspirations.

It’s been two years since Final Fantasy XV firstly launching, yet we still hear its new DLC and collaborations. Thus, celebrating Final Fantasy XV second anniversary, Square Enix released a memorable sweet moments featuring Noctis, Prompto, Gladio, Ignis, Lunafreya and more. And there’s an animated cinematic called Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn – Prologue will launch sometime before the DLC becomes available. Episode Ardyn will give players more background on the game’s antagonist.
Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight
Great news for those who want to taste Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing In Starlight! Especially those who have seen the English gameplay. Both Persona 3 and Persona 5 Dancing demos are available now on PSN. The announcement comes with a trailer. For a reminder purpose, there will be bundles available on December 8, 2018. One of ’em contains a digital copy of Persona 4: Dancing All Night for PlayStation 4 only.
