It feels like only yesterday that we celebrated Halloween, but here we are now, already at the end of November. Time goes so fast, isn’t it? Today is December and soon it will be Christmas, and 2018 is coming… but let’s put that away first. For now, let’s see what November has given us!

  • Valkyria Chronicles 4

  • Ascent: Infinite Realm

Bluehole announced a new fantasy-steampunk MMORPG, Ascent: Infinite Realm for PC! The game is a combination of high fantasy, magical, and steampunk themes. Check here for its trailer, overview, and screenshots altogether!

  • Battle Chef Brigade

Cooking-Themed RPG Battle Chef Brigade Announced for Switch and PC!

Bored with a mainstream RPG in which the hero fights monsters? How about an RPG in which the hero fights monsters to make parts of them their ingredients for cooking? Battle Chef Brigade is for you, then! Trinket Studios planned to release this game for Nintendo Switch via eShop and PC via Steam , but also planned to release on Playstation 4 after working out some launch bugs.

  • Otome Hero

Otome RPG "Otome Hero" Announced by Level-5 for Smartphone!

Level-5 decided to make something new: an otome game for smarphone, Otome Hero! As the title implies, it has a fighting element and otome element as well. Check here to see the screenshots and its trailer to get a look of a game full of pretty boys!

  • SEGA Games:Fighting Words RPG Kotodaman & Wonder Gravity

Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei Liberation worldwide release - Wonder Gravity

During a press conference in Tokyo, SEGA announced two new roleplaying games: Fighting Words Kotodama and Wonder Gravity: Pino and the Gravity User. Both will come to smartphone on 2018. In Fighting Words Kotodama, performing attack is made combining words. Meanwhile, Wonder Gravity lets the human become a gravity user!

Previously known as For Whom The Alchemist Exist, now known as The Alchemist Code for global release. This smartphone tactical rpg is finally available to get since November 14th in Google Playstore and App Store.

  • Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion

It was already released for PS Vita, and waiting for Playstation 4 release date. Now, thanks to Siliconera, we got to know when will Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion be available. December is the month! 12th is the date! So wait for December 12th if you really want to play the game on Playstation 4!

  • VA-11 HALL-A


Ever dreamed of being a Bartender when you cannot become one in real life? Well, now you can become one in VA-11 HALL-A! This is a Visual Novel, and you’ll be playing as a Bartender! Previously only available for PC, but now you can play it on your PS Vita! It is available since November 14th. Apparently, it’s also planned to release on iPad this year. Maybe this December? We still have to wait for the exact date.

  • Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology

Another game that travels to the west. Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology was planned for next year release. February 13th—a day before Valentine’s Day—for America release, and 16th—two days after Valentine—for Europe release. You know, you could buy the game for your loved ones’ gift instead of chocolate.

  • Purrfect Date

Familiar with Hatoful Boyfriend? The VN that lets you to date birds. Those who fancy the Aves species might appreciate the game. Now, for those who fancy the Felines, might appreciate this one Visual Novel. Similar to Hatoful Boyfriend, Purrfect Date is a VN that allows you to date cats. If you have imagined to date your own cat, now is the time to realize it! Mark your calendar for December 15th! That’s the release date for PC version on STEAM, while we must wait a little bit longer for the smartphone to be ready.

  • Cat Quest

Cat QuestCat Quest is slated to release for PS4 and Switch in November! The open world cat RPG has previously been available to play for PC, Mac, and mobiles (Android & iOS). An Amazon pre-order is also available at $19.99 for the PS4 version!

  • World of Final Fantasy

World of Final Fantasy Meli Melo Logo JapanGreat news for PC fans! World of Final Fantasy is now available for PC via Steam! While previously its only available for PS4 and PS Vita, the remastered version will also bring extensive list of bonus legendary creatures and characters, including Sephiroth, Balthier, White Chocobo and Glow Moogle!

  • Asdivine Hearts

Asdivine HeartsAfter previously stating that the game will be available in winter, Kemco has now officially released  Asdivine Hearts for PS4 and PS Vita! The classic JRPG-style game is now available via PlayStation Store, priced at 14.99 EUR. The game was previously available for mobiles (Android & iOS).

  • Legrand Legacy

Legrand Legacy - ArtworkSemisoft, the team behind Legrand Legacy announced that their upcoming game will be developed for consoles (PlayStation 4Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)! The game is currently in beta and will soon be released for PC.

  • Bonds of the Skies

Bonds of the SkiesKemco has officially launched Bond of the Skies for Nintendo 3DS after previously been available for mobiles (Android & iOS)! The turn-based JRPG is now available via Nintendo eShop only for $9.99.

  • Utawarerumono: A Lullaby for the Scattered

Utawarerumono A Lullaby for the Scattered - FeaturedAquaplus has announced that they’re going to release a remastered version of Utawarerumono: A Lullaby for the Scattered, the first title of the Utawarerumono series! The game will feature an updated 3D environment and HD visuals. It will be launched on April 26th, 2018 in Japan!

  • Tokyo Xanadu eX+

Tokyo Xanadu eX+ PCAksys Games has announced that Tokyo Xanadu eX+ will be having a PC release via Steam, with the same release date as its PS4 counterpart on December 8th, 2017! The PC version is currently in closed beta, while the the PS4 vesion is already available in Japan.

  • Shining Resonance Refrain

  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I: Kai –Thors Military Academy 1204

The Legend of heroes trails of cold steel mainn p11c3Nihon Falcom has announced that The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I and II will be remastered into a single title for PS4 called The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I: Kai –Thors Military Academy 1204! This new edition will improve the sound quality, visuals, and even new modes! It will be released on March 8th, 2018.

  • Caligula Overdose

Caligula Overdose - FeatureFuRyu is developing a full remake for The Caligula Effect titled Caligula Overdose for PS4! Originally released for PS Vita, the remake will be made completely with Unreal Engine 4 and an original story change! It’s planned to be released on May 17th, 2018.

  • Antiquia Lost

Smartphones RPG Antiquia Lost Gets Remastered To PC!Multi-platform JRPG Antiquia Lost by Kemco is getting a new port, this time for Nintendo Switch! The game is currently available via Nintendo eShop, priced at USD 12.99 / EUR 12.99.

  • Romancing SaGa 2

Romancing SaGa 2After a year of PS Vita port announcement, the creator of Romancing SaGa 2 Akitoshi Kawazu has now confirmed that the port will be ready as soon as this December! The turn-based kingdom management has previously been available for mobiles (Android iOS).

  • Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney

Apollo Justice for Smartphone Release DateApollo Justice: Ace Attorney is now available for 3DS! To commemorate the launch, Capcom has released a new launch trailer! The game is available digitally, priced at $19.99.

  • Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana

NIS America told us that the PC version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana and its localization is, once again, delayed. The localization fix will hopefully be released on 2018, so let’s hope for the best!

Western Localization

An all-aged or commonly known as ‘Everyone’ in the age rating system, this Visual Novel is actually Yuri-themed. Previously only available in Japan, now it travels to the west! It also already got the release date, this December 19th.

  • Shin Megami Tensei V

Shin Megami Tensei V

Shin Megami Tensei have a fifth installment, and apparently Atlus decided to make it global. They also gave up a trailer to announce the western release! Unfortunately, the date is still unknown.

  • Omega Labyrinth Z

Another RPG with lots of cute girls. Omega Labyrinth Z is the name, and soon you’ll lost your focus with the Z’s meaning after seeing the one of the girls. Aside from that, the game was announced to release western on Spring 2018.

  • Zwei: The Arges Adventures

Previously Zwei II got localized. Now Zwei!! travels to the west too! It also got a new name, Zwei: The Arges Adventures. The game was planned to release this winter, but we still have to wait for the exact date. Either this December, or early next year.

  • Final Fantasy Dimensions II

Final Fantasy Dimensions II is now available for the west! The latest mobile game by Square Enix gives off a nostalgic JRPG game mechanic for the older generations, as well as introducing the new generations with the retro feel. Final Fantasy Dimensions II features two protagonists Morrow and Aemo as they embark in a time-travelling adventure across various worlds!

  • Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade

Square Enix announced that their game Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade will be getting several new things such as adding new playable character, stages, and data transfer. The new playable character is Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV and the villain Golbez from Final Fantasy IV.

  • Horizon: Zero Dawn

Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the launch trailer for their game Horizon: Zero Dawn‘s expansion entitled The Frozen Wilds that will be a new extension to the game’s story. Aloy as the main character of the game will embark on another adventure featuring the frozen wilderness. A new mystery awaits her, and that’s the given that you should help her to solve the mystery surrounding frozen wilderness.

  • Demon Gaze II

NIS America and Experience Inc. collaborating dungeon crawler RPG, Demon Gaze II, is getting new details. First, a few new mechanics feature which provides insight on the dating mechanic. And the second detail is the Demon Gaze II DLC which will be free only on the first week of its availability, and will be paid afterward.

  • Atelier Lydie & Suelle

Three news are coming from Koei Tecmo‘s and Gust‘s game, Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings: First, they revealed the release date for North America and Europe. Second, they recently revealed several trailers for the game battle for several consoles (PlayStation Vita and Nintendo Switch). The trailers will reveal the gameplay for both two mentioned consoles, as well as showing us the battle itself. And the last, they also reveal additional characters and a slight gameplay through screenshots and trailer.

  • Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Extended Trailer Shows Story, Character, and Gameplay Overview!

Previously we got a 50 minutes long gameplay footage of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 at Gamescom 2017. But, if you don’t really have all that time to watch it, you can see another gameplay overview in an extended trailer that’s just revealed recently. The trailer also shows some story and the game’s characters.

  • Shining Resonance Re:frain

Sega updated their remastered game entitled Shining Resonance Re:frain by giving it opening movie, screenshots, and limited bonuses. As we know, the company decided to make the game into new console while giving it some new features.

  • Final Fantasy XV

Ever though of becoming a Glaive? The Kingsglaive, to be exact. In this Final Fantasy XV MMO expansion, the Comrades that previously announcing its closed beta, you actually will play as one of the Glaives. Besides that, Square Enix also revealed several updates for their game Final Fantasy XV which include the game’s Expansion, DLC, Anniversary, and new episode of the DLC.

  • Monster of The Deep: Final Fantasy XV

Monster of The Deep: Final Fantasy XV is finally available worldwide as of November 21st. You can get it now and have a taste; fishing with Prince Noctis and co, or you could see the gameplay first before getting the game. Either way, the game is out, and here its launch trailer from Square Enix.

  • Monster Hunter: World

Capcom revealed several trailers showing their game, Monster Hunter: World its character customization as well as weapons’ details. The video will show you several features during designing your own character and using the weapons (light bowgun and bow).

  • The Legend of Heroes: Trail of Cold Steel

The President and CEO of Nihon Falcom, Toshihiro Kondo, gave a shocking news regarding The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series. It is about the underdevelopment forth series of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel for PS4. Via Dengeki magazine, he confirmed that this series is going to be the last for the storyline.

  • Star Ocean: The Last Hope

Star Ocean: The Last Hope 4K & Full HD Remaster

Today, Star Ocean: The Last Hope 4K & Full HD Remaster is playable for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. To celebrate it, Square Enix releases a brand new trailer. This trailer is a show off of the improvements they gain; HD resolution on PlayStation 4 and 4k support on PlayStation 4 Pro and PC.

  • Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age

Those who played the original Final Fantasy XII in PS2 would have noticed a missing part in the Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age PS4 version. Yes, the Sky Pirate’s Den has gone somewhere! Whaatt!!?? Calm down, Square Enix do concern with your trouble. Thus, they will resurrect this achievements system by giving an update in Patch 1.04.


  • Tekken 7

Final Fantasy XV Maiin pic3324During the Tekken 7 World Tour Finals, Bandai Namco and Square Enix shared a bit of surprise, as Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV will be joining Tekken 7 as a DLC character! Check out the trailer here.
