February flies so fast! Part of it is, of course, because it has less days than the other months. However, less days doesn’t mean that the news from game field is insignificant! Pokemon Sword and Shield

During the 2019 Pokemon Direct, President and CEO of The Pokemon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, revealed Pokemon Sword and Shield for the Nintendo Switch. This eighth generation Pokemon games are coming sometime later in 2019. It will be released worldwide simultaneously. The games feature a trio of new starters, the fire rabbit Scorbunny, grass chimp Grookey, or water lizard Sobble.

  • Doraemon: Nobita’s Story of Seasons

Doraemon Nobita’s Story of Seasons

Bandai Namco does more expansion for their Story of Seasons franchise. This time, Doraemon is their target! Nobita, the clumsy main character from Doraemon gets his game in Doraemon: Nobita’s Story of Seasons. Nobita will need to farm and grow corps with Doraemon’s tools. What…? This looks like a parody, but no, it’s not!

  • Criminal Girls X

Mikage LLC.  announced a new game entitled Criminal Girls X for smartphones and PC. The Japan release will support VR, and a PS4 version could happen too. It’s possible to add in high-end VR unit support, but that’s to be discussed later on. A trailer is here.

  • Last Idea

Square Enix is planning to release something fresh: Last Idea, a new treasure hunting RPG for to smartphones in Japan. Precisely for both iOS and Android devices sometime this spring. The game is focused on a beginner treasure hunter as the protagonist. You start out by seeking out treasure on a floating, isolated island, only to get caught up in an invasion of monsters. A trailer and official website can already be seen.

  • Eternity: The Last Unicorn

Eternity: The Last Unicorn

The upcoming 3rd-person action-RPG entitled Eternity: The Last Unicorn is planned to be released on March 5th, 2019. Developer Void Studios and Publisher 1C Entertainment have also announced the compatible ports; Windows PC (via Steam)PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

  • Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy

Ace Attorney Trilogy

Be ready, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney fans! After being announced to be remastered into multiple platforms, Capcom has confirmed the western release date for Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy for PC, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One altogether! April 9th, 2019 is the date!

  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel for PS4 Launch Date Officially Revealed

XSEED Games reveals The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel for PS4 to release on March 26th, 2019. Although they announced a western release for early 2019, the date is only for North America release. The game will come to Europe, but a date have yet to be set.

Re-port / Remastered

  • Final Fantasy IX

Final Fantasy IX

Well, Square Enix has confirmed for the re-port of both Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy VII. Those who have Nintendo Switch (via the eShop) or Xbox One can now play Final Fantasy IX. While Final Fantasy VII only have to wait a little longer till March 26th, 2019.

  • Dead or School

Dead or School Announced for PS4 and Switch!

Studio Nanafushi announced on their twitter to bring Dead or School to PlayStation 4 and Switch. The consoles edition will first release in Japan sometime this August. They are also working on a physical release.

  • Ys: Memories of Celceta

Falcom has announced a Ys: Memories of Celceta PlayStation 4 port! This game will launch in Japan on May with Ys: Memories of Celceta: Kai as the title. The PS4 port will include many improvements such as high-resolution visuals and 60 FPS performance, higher quality music, and more.

  • Zanki Zero: Last Beginning

Spike Chunsoft is delaying Zanki Zero: Last Beginning release to April 2019 for additional improvement purpose.

  • Our World is Ended

Our World is Ended Western Release Delayed to April 2019!

PQube also delay Our World is Ended release from this March into April 18, 2019 for both North America and Europe.

Localization to English Announced

  • Moero Chronicle H


Idea Factory International announced release Moero Chronicle H will come to North America and Europe on Spring 2019.

  • Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland

Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland will have its English version available on May 21st, 2019 in North America and May 24th, 2019 in Europe.

  • Dissidia Final Fantasy NT

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free-to-Play Version Now Available in Japan!

The free version of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will finally have an English version coming to PlayStation 4 and PC (via STEAM) on March 12, 2019.

  • Final Fantasy XIV

Square Enix gave us updates, many updates, in fact, regarding their upcoming Final Fantasy XIV expansion ‘Shadowbringers‘. Started with its release date, then a new playable race, the Viera, a new job, the Gunbreaker, and a host of new areas like Il Mheg, Rak’Tika Greatwood, a new NieR: Automata inspired alliance raid, and a collector edition.

  • God Eater 3

Today, on February 4, 2019, Bandai Namco held a God Eater live stream looking at the future of the series. And it kicked things off by almost immediately looking at the God Eater 3 updates people can expect to see in Spring and Summer 2019.

  • Final Fantasy XV

It’s been thirteen years since Square Enix released Final Fantasy XV. And until today Square Enix still have DLC to share. Yep, it’s Final Fantasy XV Episode Ardyn DLC finally got it’s release date which on March 26, 2019. Moreover, Square Enix also gave us an about 15 minutes prologue anime for the upcoming DLC story.

Via Nintendo Direct, we get to tons of RPG updates of new games, some of release dates, and playable demo, started from Fire Emblem: Three HousesDragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive AgeOninakiRune Factory 5Dragon Quest Builders 2Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!.

  • Kingdom Hearts III

Dengeki Playstation had the great opportunity to interview Kingdom Hearts III Director Tetsuya Nomura, revealing lots of juicy updates. First, Nomura confirmed that DLC for Kingdom Hearts III is currently in development. Then, a critical mode difficulty level is being worked on, as well as some expansions to the story of the game.



  • Ni No Kuni

Ni no Kuni Anime

Brought to you by Warner Bros. Japan and Level-5 is a new anime movie based on Ni No Kuni. It will premiere in Japan this Summer.

Pokemon Sword and Shield is so hyped up! Then again, who won’t get excited for the 8th generation Pokemon? Anyway, besides Pokemon, the other news that is so exciting for me is Ni no Kuni anime movie. Really cannot wait to see how it would become!
