Monster Hunter World TGS 2017 Footage Shows Gameplay, Large Batch of Screenshots Revealed!

During Tokyo Game Show 2017, Capcom revealed a footage for Monster Hunter: World, showing its gameplay. In addition, a large batch of screenshots are also revealed for the game, showing character creation, gear enhancement, and more. Check Monster Hunter World TGS 2017 footage and screenshots below!

As can be seen above, the video is a recording of the stage event in Tokyo Game Show. It shows us more hunting in Wildspire Waste. In addition, there’s also another trailer coming in TGS 2017.

There will also be special equipment. There will be mantles each of which has special effects such as making characters stealthy, resilient to knockbacks and knockdowns, provoking monsters, and enabling characters to glide.

More screenshots showcase the forge in Astella village. You can enhance equipments by using materials and currency. Resetting enhancement is allowed, which gives the spent materials back. Equipment can be produced for both the character and the palico partner. There is even a wishlist that lets you register the equipment you want to make or enhance, and check the necessary materials at any time. Armor and armor sets have their own skills and abilities.

In addition, palico actually can talk to some monsters, and negotiate with them for help.

Monster Hunter: World will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 26 2018, and will also be released for PC afterwards.
