Monster Hunter Movie Adaptation will Begin Production in September, Starting Milla Jovovich!

About last year, there’s a video footage taken by Resident Evil movie series director, Paul W.S. Anderson showing presumably a clip from Monster Hunter movie adaptation.

That’s the clip, by the way. Based on the uploader comment, it is only a test footage of what was believed as something from the real movie in development in 2016 or 2017. In fact, Monster Hunter movie adaptation will finally begins its production this September starring Milla Jovovich.

Now who’s is this woman? You might remember her from Resident Evil movie series (see the pic below to refresh your memory) where she plays as Alice.

Back to Monster Hunter movie adaptation that was said to be a series, just like Resident Evil. It will be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, Jeremy Bolt as the producer, and a visual effects studio Mr. X who worked on Resident Evil will be the one doing the special effects.with a budget around $60 million from the studio, Constantin Film. The shots will be taken around Cape Town, South Africa.

The CEO, Martin Moszkowicz, also said something at Cannes Film Festival.

“Paul has proven over and over he does stylish movies. It’s one of his big strong points. He can make a movie look good, is very much into visuals.”

Kinda curious with how the movie will looks like, no? Let’s wait a few years from now.

Monster Hunter movie adaptation will begin its production on September 2018.
