During E3 press conference, Microsoft finally revealed a new console which was teased last year and called Project Scorpio. The console is finally revealed as Xbox One X! This console will launch on November 2017 with the cost of $499. Let’s see Xbox One X’s specs, features, pictures, and also supported games below!
Xbox One X Spec
Below you can see Xbox One X’s specs as compared to Xbox One S and Xbox One (courtesy of DualShockers). In short, Xbox One X is almost similar in size to Xbox One S. The console is heavier since, as Executive Creative Director Carl Ledbetter said, the console is the most tightly packed console and there is almost no empty room inside the shell.
Several first and third party games will have free Xbox One X updates when the console launches. Keep in mind that there are still more games coming for the console, especially since Xbox One will get a backward compatibility feature to include original Xbox titles.
- Gears of War 4
- Killer Instinct
- Halo Wars 2
- Forza Horizon 3
- Halo Wars 2 will
- Final Fantasy XV
- Resident Evil VII
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Rocket League
Microsoft also announced that Xbox One will expand backward compatibility feature. It is used to include original Xbox titles to be played in the console. It’s still unknown exactly when the titles will be added to the service, but the backward compatibility will be launching in fall of 2017. More information will be given in the near future.
Xbox One X will be available worldwide on November 7 2017.
