Mecha Sci-fi Series Megaton Musashi Announced as Level-5’s Fifth Cross-Media Project

After Snack World announced as the fourth cross-media project, Level-5 announced a new IP for their project! The mecha sci-fi series Megaton Musashi is announced during the Level-5 Vision event. It will include an action RPG game (possibly for 3DS and other unknown system), an anime series, a batch of toys and merchandise, and more to come.

The story is set in a future where humanity lives in shelters, defending against some alien invaders. A new super-robot formed by three components each piloted by a different hero will confront the threat. It will mix mecha stories with school drama genre. The mechanic will include the use of trading card-like devices that initiate some special attacks.

Megaton Musashi is expected to launch in Summer 2017. The game will be released for Nintendo 3DS, and has a possibility to launch in other system. Check also other news coverage from Level-5 Vision 2016 event here.
