Pokémon GO‘s hype was tremendous when it was first released, and has gone downhill lately. However, that does not stop Maroon 5 from creating a music inspired by the phenomenal Pokémon-catching game. Check out Maroon 5‘s latest song called “Don’t Wanna Know” below.

The music video uses Pokémon GO as a metaphor for Adam Levine and the gang’s life as a celebrity; being chased around and ‘captured’ by their phone. It also features a subplot that tells about how Adam broods over his ex-girlfriend. The general idea of this song is to tell that they are also human too; they are tired of being chased around, and they experience heartbreaks as well.

The song also features a verse from Kendrick Lamar, which was not shown in the full music video. You can check it on the official audio version of the song below.

Pokémon GO is now available for iOS and Android.
