Another update came from a famous game developer company!
Sony Interactive Entertainment is planning to end the physical card production of PlayStation Vita games in its branches (America and Europe) on March 31, 2019. The information came from a website called Kotaku as they plan to end the production during the fiscal year of 2018, and the PS Vita product code requests has to be submitted by June 28, 2018 while the final purchase of its orders has to be inputted by February 15, 2019.
It means that they plan to stop the PS Vita‘s game in the western countries, but they will still produce the physical game in Japan for a while (as this is the company’s original country, after all.) Before, they also stopped the PlayStation 3‘s production in Japan as well as launching cool PlayStation 4 edition. Well, let’s hope that they will create something new, portable consoles for the next generation of PlayStation Vita!
The console was launched first in Japan on December 2017, 2011, followed by the release of its 1st Edition in North America on February 15, 2012 and a general release in North America and Europe on February 22, 2012.
