At E3 2016, Nintendo revealed three new amiibos for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The three amiibos are Archer, Rider, and Guardian. Archer is basically Link with a bow, while Rider is Link on a horseback. Guardian is the very first amiibo that has flexible parts.
In addition to that, Nintendo also announced that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild supports the Wolf Link amiibo. You can summon Wolf Link into the game by tapping the amiibo onto the Wii U gamepad. Wolf Link will help you hunt and also attack enemies.
Wolf Link has three hearts by default, unless you carry over your save data from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, which allows you to carry over that amount of hearts you have on your Wolf Link.
In previous The Legend of Zelda games, Link usually gets items from dungeons. That will no longer apply in this upcoming title. Link can get items and equipments from around the world. Link can equip clothes and armors for a different look, and durability system will be applied, which means the equipments will degrade and even break over time.
