Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV was first announced during the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event earlier on March 30. This movie is made introduce the world of Final Fantasy to newcomers. Check out the individual character shots below.

In this movie, The big hit TV series Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad casts will take part in the voice acting. King Regis Lucis Caelum CXIII will be voiced by Sean Bean (Ned Stark from Game of Thrones), Lunafreya Nox Fleuret will be voiced by Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister from Game of Thrones), and Nyx Ulric will be voiced by Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad). Unfortunately, these casts will not take any parts in the game due to budgetary constraints.

The production of Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV has begun since 2013, with Hajime Tabata as the producer, Takeshi Nozue as the director, and Takashi Hasegawa as the scenario writer. The original soundtrack for this movie will be composed by John R. Graham while Yoko Shimomura is in charge for composing the main theme.

Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV will be released in theater in Japan on July 9, also available via stream and download before the game’s release, and included in the Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Collector’s Edition of the game.
