This year is Kingdom Hearts‘ 15th anniversary, and Square Enix will be celebrating it with a “Memorial Stained Glass Clock” campaign in Japan. The campaign will be held from January 9 to 15 at Tokyo Metro Marunouchisen Shinjuku Station Metro Promenade.
A giant stained glass clock of Sora surrounded by 12 smaller stained glass representing the clock dials will be displayed during the event. All 13 of those stained glasses will be given away by Square Enix in the form of clocks as presents. There are two ways to participate in the giveaway:
- Follow @_KingdomHearts and post a tweet mentioning them with the image of your favorite stained glass selected from the campaign website.
- Take a picture of the actual exhibit and tweet with the hashtag “#キングダムハーツ15周年”.
Next to the stained glass clock, there is a huge vertical display that shows a minute-long Kingdom Hearts series flashback video and countdown to the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue on January 12, as shown in the featured image at the top of this article.
Not only those, a visual memorial exhibition and giant mural featuring characters from across the Kingdom Hearts series will also be displayed during the event.
