Nintendo just hosted Pokémon Direct to celebrate the 20th Anniversary for Pokemon franchise, which was supposed to be on Feb 27th, 2016. On the 6 minutes live streaming, Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Have Been Announced as the 7th Pokemon Generation!
This is the information that was provided so far in the Pokémon Direct event:
- The game will be released globally (similar with the previous generation, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y) on Holiday Season in 2016!
- There will be 9 languages available right when you starting the game.
- The game will be played in 2D Format, with some areas are available in 3D.
A day before the Feb 2016 Pokémon Direct event, there was a leak about those two new Pokémon trademarks filed in Europe (thanks, Nerdleak). Since the leak was spread over the net, people have been speculated whether those will truly be the main star of the 6-minutes Pokémon Direct or not. Well, it looks like the leak was right after all.
