Mateys! Here is an update from an action-RPG that is full of actions!
Bandai Namco recently announced their new project entitled God Eater 3 will be developed for PlayStation 4 and PC as well as releasing the game’s first trailer which contains some in-game system.
This is the game’s trailer which is full of cinematic play as well as introducing you to the game’s environment:
In this trailer, we got to see the name of the protagonist’s friend, Hugo Pennywort (voiced by: Tomokazu Seki).
Now then, it’s time to talk about in-game’s system.
- The game will be set on a badlands called Ash Zone (the continuation of God Eater 2) which is capable to turn anything into dust and ash. This zone is currently expanding more and more.
- In order to challenge this zone, there are some characters with special abilities to resist that, which are called AGE (Adaptive God Eater). These characters have special task to work in this Ash Zone to save the mankind while being restricted to unleash their full power. Take note that these characters also have to do dirty work for the Fenrir.
- The Engage System is a system that allows you to share some buffs and skills improvement to your allies during the battle. You need to fill the Engage Gauge by fighting some enemies near the your allies.
There are two trailers explaining you about in-game system though:
Some weapons are combined, for example, the staff and dual blade. You can switch it back and forth, but watch out of your character’s stamina gauge. Another thing that needs to be noted is that you have to make use of some characters’ ability during using the engage system. As you can share some buffs and improvements, it also can be used to perform some powerful attacks in fighting stronger enemies. However, if your character is devoured by Aragami, you cannot activate the engage system and you have to wait for your characters to be respawned.
Previously, the main character of this game is revealed along with some explanation. You can check it here.
