Final Fantasy XV Release Date is set on September 30, 2016 worldwide

Today, Square Enix has announced the Final Fantasy XV release date through the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event in Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles. After more than 10 years development and even changing the name from Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Final Fantasy XV will be finally released worldwide on September 30, 2016. Final Fantasy XV will have the English, Japanese, and French voice options. The game will also feature Spanish and Portuguese subtitles. and will have an approximately 50 hours+ playtime length.

As a refresher, Final Fantasy XV will have Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum (Noctis for the short) taking an epic road trip together before marrying a neighborring kingdom’s princess: Princess Lunafreya Nox Fleuret. Noctis is a Crown Prince and the heir of Kingdom of Lucis, the last kingdom who have control over a Crystal.

Noctis travels with his bros: Prompto, Ignis, and Gladiolus. Through the entire game, player will control Noctis only. However, his friends will also join in battle and controlled by AI. Outside his bros, some characters may appear as guest party member, such as Cor Leonis, a companion of Noctis and friend of his father, King Regis Lucis Caelum CXIII.

Official Final Fantasy XV Theme Song: Stand by Me by Florence Welch

In a recent press release by Square Enix, they announced that the official Final Fantasy XV theme song is the already famous Ben E.Kings‘ classic Stand by Me. However, the song will be a cover version, sung by Florence Welch.

In the video above, Florence tell her opinion about Final Fantasy:

I have always seen Final Fantasy as mythical, beautiful, and epic.

 

Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV Announced!

A new five-episode animated series titled Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV is announced during the event. The series will focus on Noctis and his friendship with the gang. The anime will be available by free to watch digitally.

Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV Announced!

Another film related to Final Fantasy XV has been announced during the event. Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV is a new full-length, 3D animated movie set place during the current event of Final Fantasy XV. It will focus more on Noctis’ father, King Regis, and Princess Lunafreya.

Final Fantasy XV Platinum Demo is Already Available!

Final Fantasy XV Platinum Demo is Available Now

The technical demo for the game, Final Fantasy XV Platinum Demo, is already available to download by free in PlayStation Store and Xbox Games Store. You will play as young Noctis and adventuring in his dream world. Complete the demo to unlock a special summon when the final game is released.

Justice Monsters Five Announced!

A pinball game mixed with RPG element titled Justice Monsters Five (JMV) will be available for Android, iOS, and Windows 10. JMV is a popular minigame in the Kingdom of Lucis.

Collector Edition for Final Fantasy XV Announced!

Ultimate Collector Edition for Final Fantasy XV

Square Enix also announced that there will be more that one type of special/collector edition available that you can preorder in the online retailer. There will be One Day Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Ultimate Collector Edition.
