In the Letter from the Producer LIVE XXXIV that was held after the opening keynote of Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival in Tokyo, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida announced that Final Fantasy XIV will get a collaboration with Garo. Yes, you read it right. That Japanese tokusatsu series Garo.
In this collaboration, you can get special glamours and mounts designed by Keita Amemiya himself, who will also be designing Stormblood‘s 24-man raid “Return to Ivalice”. The gears will be equipable for both male and female characters, and will be available for every jobs in the game with different designs. These can be obtained via Gold Saucer or PvP.
Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida revealed that this collaboration will happen in the part 1 of patch 3.5 The Far Edge of Fate, and the patch will go live on January 17, 2017.
