Final Fantasy XIV Celebrates 3rd Anniversary with The Rising Event

Final Fantasy XIV - The Rising 2016 - Key art

It has been 3 years since Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn was released, and The Rising event comes to Eorzea once again. This annual event is the development team’s chance to celebrate the MMORPG’s anniversary.

Unlike last year’s The Rising, which appeared to be very emotional for players, this year’s The Rising event has more of a festive feel to it. The event will begin on August 27, 2016 at 1:00 a.m. and ends on September 12, 2016 at 7:59 a.m. (PDT).

Here is the description for the event’s questline titled The Show Must Go On, as provided by Square Enix.

The Crystal Caravan has come to Ul’dah, and plans to put on the performance of a lifetime. To ensure the actors can truly bring their roles to life, however, the troupe leader seeks those who can tell them more of the great heroes who will be portrayed on stage. Adventurers with a love for the theater and the arts are encouraged to seek them out.

Where to start?

To begin the quest for the annual event, you can talk to the NPC Crystal Caravan Leader in Ul’dah, Steps of Nald at the assigned area, as shown below.
