Final Fantasy Type-0 was first introduced at Tokyo Game Show 2015 to replace the cancelled Final Fantasy Agito. There is no much information revealed since then until recently, where an off-screen demo gameplay was recorded in the ChinaJoy 2016 Conference event!

Based on the original Final Fantasy Type-0 for PSP, this game will have an emphasis of a hack and slash MMORPG gameplay. The game is developed by a Chinese game developer Beijing Perfect World, who is known for developing many online games such as Perfect World.
