Mateys! You must be somewhat overjoyed if you read this news. It is about a certain game that is ported to a modern console, brought to you by a well-known company!
Square Enix announced that the game Final Fantasy IX is digitally available for PlayStation 4. The company revealed this information during PlayStation Press Conference in Japan to the fans, and it is expected that the game will be getting some exclusive features. Other than that, the company revealed the game’s launch trailer too, as the commemoration of the game which has been released since 2000.
First thing first, there is some exclusive features added. The explanation can be read below:
- High-Definition movies and character models
- Auto-save is available unlike in previous release in some consoles
- Seven optional booster features, especially high speed mode and no encounter mode. The Master All Abilities booster is also bestowed, and this feature allows you to automatically equip weapons and gears, maximizing character levels, magic stone counts, and gil.
- PlayStation 4 trophy support, sharing achievements between players, and remote play with the PlayStation Vita.
The game itself is available on PlayStation®Store, around $16.79 if you buy it until September 26th, and the price will be $20.99 if you buy it pass that time. In addition, fans who buy it through PlayStation®Store, they will obtain PlayStation 4 custom theme designed by Toshiyuki Itahana and eight PlayStation™Network avatars.

Well, even if this is a retro game, and you probably played this series continuously in different consoles, you may try this one as it is ported now on PlayStation 4.
