Here we go again! Crucial updates for a famous game with lots of series, brought to you by a certain company.
Atlus reveals details for story and some gameplay for Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation along with the game’s world, system, demons, and key characters. As you know, the Shin Megami Series features demons as the media to battle enemies.
First thing first, you have to know the overview of the story as well as a brief gameplay explanation:
Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation allows you to bring demons into the real world, and the developers are doing that by aiming for high-quality demon models that go beyond what you see in average smartphone games.
After being led by a mysterious man, who passed along his powers, you become a member of a secret organization called Liberators tasked with protecting the world, and together with a popular video maker Megakin, find yourselves caught in a battle between Dx2 users.The enemy is known as the Acolytes. They are another group of Dx2 users who take actions based on their own philosophy. Those who scale high on their Sympathy Index are considered obstacles to their objective, and they’ve been secretly eliminating them.
On the other side of a peaceful society, the malice of mankind is quietly but surely spreading, as the battle between Devil Downloaders reaches new heights.

- Demon Negotiation allows you to converse and befriend Demons
- Demon Fusion allows you to fuse and create new demons
- Press Turn Battle allows you to increase your in-battle actions if you happen to hit enemy’s weaknesses
- Aura Gate allows you to explore dungeon in 3D. However, the feature still not clearly explained.
