Dragon Quest Builders Switch Version Gets Screenshots Showing Exclusive Features

Square Enix shared screenshots for Dragon Quest Builders Switch version. It includes exclusive features that will appear in the game’s Nintendo Switch version. In case you’re wondering, the release date and gameplay are already available here. Now, let’s check the screenshots together!

First, the game is set in the same world like Dragon Quest‘s first title’s world, Alefgard. It, however, takes place in a parallel world. It takes place in a parallel world where the hero accepted the Dragonlord’s request before the final battle. The protagonist (male or female, your choice!) revive in a desolated world, and attempt to rebuild Alefgard from scratch by gathering material. There will be a certain point in game that allow you to build anything you want without getting attacked from monsters. It is called Free Build Mode.

Another new feature exclusively to Switch would be riding the Great Sabrecub. Defeating monsters with Great Sabrecub will earn you special crafting materials, Pixels. Pixels are able to create terrain and other characters in 8-bit style.

Dragon Quest Builders is already released for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita and will come for Nintendo Switch in February 9th 2018 for North America and Europe, and March the 1st in Japan. Read more about Dragon Quest Universe here!
