You may have seen our last post on Doraemon: Story of Seasons, where we gleefully introduced you to Bandai Namco‘s upcoming game storyline and trailer. On June 12th, Bandai Namco themselves had yet again to reveal a new trailer–much to our delight, so to speak–of the farming simulator designed for Nintendo Switch.
You can check out the trailer below:
From the trailer itself, we can see various pastimes and activities that we are able to do in the game. These activities include fishing, bug-catching, mining, lumbering, and taking care of the farm’s animals.
These pastimes aren’t there for the laughs, though. What’s even cooler is you can sell the insects and fishes you’ve caught to the local market vendors. Or, if you’re feeling generous, you can also give them out as trinkets for the townspeople! In addition, mining and lumbering generates materials that you can use to upgrade your tools AND your farm. Last but not least, taking care of your favorite animals can yield items that are appropriate to the animals itself. For example, sheep can give you wool and cows can give you milk. Wow, talk about scratching each other’s back.
As we previously stated, Doraemon: Story of Seasons will be available for Nintendo Switch this June 13th, 2019 in Japan, followed by a Windows PC (via Steam) and Switch release sometime this fall in North America and Europe.
