News comes from the latest Monthly CoroCoro Comic (via Ryokutya2089). Bandai Namco has confirmed they’ll release a playable demo for Doraemon Story of Seasons on Nintendo Switch. But, no date has been confirmed. And Bandai Namco also shared the latest trailer shows off the various systems and mechanics.
In related news, a brand new Story of Seasons game (the new name for the Marvelous-developed Harvest Moon franchise) is in development, separate from this Doraemon-themed spinoff.
The game features Nobita, Doraemon, and their friends who happen to travel to an unfamiliar world, and get stuck without a way to return home. They are happened upon by a young boy named Ranch who introduces them to his home, Shizen Town, and Nobita and the others take up residency while finding a way home. The game features the classic Story of Seasons gameplay but with a larger focus on linear storytelling as well.
