Another west RPG applying tactical combat will be right before you, mateys! The game will receive a little bit explanation, of course.
Larian Studios launched new trailer for their game, Divinity: Original Sin 2 which showed some of gameplay. The gameplay consists of its combat and battle system, environments, as well as multiplayer features. First of all, watch this video:
Before explaining the trailer, here is a little rundown of the game (via website):
Choose your race and origin story and see how differently the world reacts. Gather your party and blast your opponents with different elements in deep tactical turn-based combat. Explore the vast and layered world of Rivellon alone or with up to 4 players in drop-in/drop-out cooperative play.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is an entirely new experience built on the next-gen Divinity Engine, with a new UI, an all-new art-style, and advanced roleplay systems. Everything that made the original great returns: Go anywhere you want, kill anyone, find endless ways to solve problems and gather your ultimate RPG party.
In a world where the Gods are dead, you play a wielder of forbidden magic, quarantined in the prison colony of Fort Joy. The Magisters of the Divine Order want to “cure” you of your powers. But the Order has secrets of its own. Secrets that threaten everyone. If the world remains godless, chaos will rule. It’s time for a new Divinity.
As said before, now is the time to explain the trailer.
- The combat system will be tactically constructed, as you have to choose six different origins with the addition of undead characters shown in the trailer.
- Exploring the Rivellon as suggested by the description above also can be done by solo or group expedition (which is up to four characters) with co-op functionality.
- Choosing dialogues. The system also can be referred to pen and paper RPG freedom. Choosing appropriate and suited dialogue can help you exploring the world of the game.
- The game also will feature full voice cast with over 74,000 lines of dialogue.
So many things to consider, huh? Well, since the game offered us its capability, you have to somehow try it yourself. Of course, when the game is up and everywhere.
