Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia takes place in the same world as Dissidia Final Fantasy for Arcade, and Koei Tecmo also take part in the development.

The game will be featuring more than 20 characters from the existing Final Fantasy titles. Unlike other mobile games which requires you to use gacha system to acquire characters, you’ll be able to recruit them by advancing through the story and events.

The screenshot above shows the battle screen of the game. The game will adapt a portion of the battle system from Dissidia Final Fantasy: “Brave Attacks”, “HP Attacks”, and “Break Bonus”. While you like to accumulate your Brave point as much as you can to land a single devastating hit in Dissidia Final Fantasy, your Brave point will be limited in this mobile game to make the tempo smoother.

As can be seen in the screenshot above, the order of the battle is shown above the party status. The icons that are shown next to the enemy’s HP indicates the target of the action, providing a strategic touch to the game.
