Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will add Yuna from FF X; Free-to-Play Version Announced!

Another girl will join Dissidia Final Fantasy NT as a DLC character sometime this December. A Free-to-Play version also will come on November 22nd, in Japan, for PlayStation 4.

Following Rinoa from Final Fantasy VIII as a DLC character is Yuna from Final Fantasy X. She will be available as DLC too sometime this December. You can check her performance with her trailer below.

Alongside Yuna’s announcement is another stage called the Final Battlefield Map. This stage will come sometime this December too, but available in arcades on November 15th.

Then we have an announcement from Square Enix about a Free-to-Play version for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. It’s coming on November 22nd in Japan for PlayStation 4.

What’s in the FTP, you asked?

The characters available in FTP version will swaps in regular intervals. There will be no story mode, too. The specs also different, but players with FTP can still play with other users, FTP or paid. While save data can be carried over FTP and paid version—vice versa—the data can be carried over from arcade version to FTP, too.

Another thing worth mentioning (and probably make a FTP into not-so-FTP anymore), is players can still purchase characters individually with their sets. ¥800 for Basic set¥300 for Second Form set, and ¥100 for Fourth Weapon, EX weapon set. If compatible, players can equip those sets onto free-to-play characters while they are available.

You guys decide whether purchasing those sets are worth it or not for the FTP version.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is available for PlayStation 4 globally.
