Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Introduces Tifa of FFVII

If you remember what was Tifa's EX Burst on Dissidia 012--congratulations! Both of us are getting old.

Dissidia Final Fantasy has gone a long way since its initial release on PlayStation Portable back in 2008–that was 11 years ago. The original game features its most engaging aspect, the characters crossover between all the main installments of Final Fantasy series up until Tidus. Following that, Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy was released for PSP. Such game features the original game’s storyline, along with its prequel and sequel plus additional playable characters, all concluded in one single game. Square Enix had avid Final Fantasy–such as myself–crying tears of joy at the crossover we didn’t knew we needed.

Talk about imaginary brawler, am I right or am I right? (Kudos to you who get the reference–we must be getting older.)

Now, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT–a next-gen only arcade version of the game–introduces Tifa from our beloved Final Fantasy VII to join on the battle with Cloud and other Final Fantasy protagonists. Previously, Tifa was also featured in Dissidia 012 as a warrior fighting for Cosmos–the goddess of harmony.

Via a reveal trailer published by Square Enix, players can see the upcoming moveset and gameplay for the brawler’s return in the franchise. You can check out the trailer below:

Tifa Lockhart will be available for players to enjoy on July 2nd for PC. Alternatively, PS4 players can also join the fun on July 3rd, 2019.
