Mateys! A certain game’s update will make you excited and happy at the same time. Several features are here for you!

Square Enix announced that their game Dissidia Final Fantasy Arcade will be getting several new things such as adding new playable character, stages, and data transfer. The new playable character is Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV. There are several things that will accompany his arrival: his alternate costume and colors. He is also designed by Tetsuya Nomura (he did several designs for most of Final Fantasy series’ characters). Anyway, here is the video revealing Noctis in action:

Aside from that, he comes with several soundtracks from the original game. The tracks are: Stand Your Ground, Veiled in Black, The Fight is On!, Careening into Danger, and Apocalypsis Noctis. All of these tracks are re-arranged and inserted to the battle.

Next, we also get new stages for the game! More stages from Final Fantasy VIII will come to this game. You can see the stages through the video below:

On top of that, there is also a new alteration of victory fanfare for the villain characters.

Other than those features, the game allows the data to be transferred to the PlayStation 4 port entitled Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. The features that can be transferred are: fighting rank, character level (up to the initial cap of 10), HP attack, chat icons, title, player icon and battle BGM. This feature may not operate in a full condition yet, but at least the company tries to link between these two similar games and providing us with their good service (which is really great).

There are several characters that are playable in the game, and you can view it here and here.

Dissidia Final Fantasy is available in Japan for Arcade. Read more posts related to Final Fantasy series here.
