Walt Disney Japan and XFLAG Studio announced a new game for smartphone, Star Smash. An anime promotional video is also unveiled! In case you feel familiar with the characters’ artstyle, you’re right, the design is made by a manga creator Oh! great who draws Tenjo Tenge, Bakemonogatari, and Air Gear.
In this game, there is a futuristic sport called star ball. We will follow Yuu and his team, Red Braves, around this star ball sport. Disney characters from various animated films serve as “Buddy AI” for the team. So far, we can see Mickey serves as the Buddy AI for Red Braves.
Disney Star Smash will launch for Android and iOS on November 16.
