Dark Souls: Remastered Trailer Shows Comparison of Graphical Improvement!

Dark Souls: Remastered

Early this year, Bandai Namco announced a remastered for Dark Soul titled Dark Souls: Remastered along with premier trailer and Trilogy Box, yet not much info regarding upgrades included. Thus, today they gave a detail list of all the changes and additions made to the game’s online multiplayer.

Furthermore, we also have a comparison video (thanks to Dualshockers) between from the original PlayStation 3 and Remastered PlayStation 4 Pro versions.

The game will support native 4K resolution on PC and upscaled 4K on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. Standard PS and Xbox One versions are at 1080p with 60fps gameplay. The Nintendo Switch version will support 1080p resolution on TV Mode and 720p for Handheld Mode both at 30fps performance.

Lastly, Virtuous is working on the Nintendo Switch Remaster under FromSoftware supervising, and QLOC is working on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions.

  • Players can now prevent matched Red Phantoms from seeing their “White Sign Soapstone” sign

  • In online play, players who are outside of the host’s parameter range will not be matched with each other (the players can still be matched via Password Matching.

Arena Changes and Adjustments

  • Three-versus-three and six-player deathmatch have been added.
