Another not so good update will be brought for you, mateys.
Bandai Namco recently announced that the game entitled Dark Souls: Remastered for the Nintendo Switch version will be delayed from its original schedule. The company will continue this project later on this summer, and they gave us the reason about the delay:
Bandai Namco said of the delay: “The new release timing gives the development team the time needed to make sure Nintendo Switch players can fully appreciate the true Dark Souls experience anytime and anywhere, thanks to the unique portable nature of the Nintendo Switch console.”
After they give us the comparisons between the original and remastered one, they want to add something to the new port to make the game look better (to fit in the Switch, of course.) Luckily, the game’s development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC version won’t get delayed and will be published on May 25th.
Also, here is the game’s overview (to refresh your memory, of course):
Experience the critically acclaimed, genre-defining game that started it all. Beautifully remastered, return to Lordran in stunning high-definition detail running at 60fps. Dark Souls Remastered includes the main game plus the Artorias of the Abyss DLC.
