There’s a new website that’s been made by CyberConnect2, the developer of .hack series. Apparently they have a new project with the same concept (“Small-scope/short-period development”; “Short playtime” and “Low-price”) for a Revenge-themed and will publish the games themselves. One of them is a strategy RPG with shooting action elements, Fugue of the Battlefield. Shall we have a look?
Apparently you’ll take the role of eleven anthromorphic cats and dogs—your pets who finally walk with two legs—to rescue their captured families. For your information, they’re still kids
Yes, little kids who already have rough lives. They have to rescue their own families with giant tank named Taranis, a mysterious ancient tech that includes a variety of facility. Basically, it’s a house, but also a weapon. The Taranis also has an ultimate Soul Cannon, but it requires human souls to use.
Yes. You need to sacrifice human to use the weapon. The kids doesn’t look cute anymore, huh? Or still cute even though they sacrifice humans to use the cannon?
There are no more information for the game. Just an announcement about it, so we must wait a little bit longer for the consoles and release date revelation.
Fugue of the Battlefield is still in developing stage.
