Chase Cold Case Investigations - Featured

Chase: Cold Case Investigations – Distant Memories is released! Together with the release, Aksys Games also launched the official website, containing 5 prelude short stories to get you interested! Additionally, the website also contained various information such as characters details, gameplay, and various in-game screenshots. You can read this brief overview of the game, taken from the official website:

The Cold Case Unit of the 3rd Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Two detectives worked in the unit that never stepped outside: an eccentric, Shounosuke Nanase, and a self-proclaimed elite, Koto Amekura. Wasting away their hours with nothing to do was a regular occurrence, when suddenly they received a phone call.

An explosion that took place 5 years ago. “It was not an accident. It was murder.” A suspicious phone call from an unknown caller spurred them to re-investigate a cold case with no leads whatsoever. Was it really a murder case…? Interviewing the young man who caused the explosion was as good a place to start as any. “If the probability is not zero, then that means there’s a possibility!”

Nanase finally stirs into action.

The case that had been ruled only an accident…Time to CHASE the truth.

Chase: Cold Case Investigations – Distant Memories is now available for Nintendo 3DS worldwide on 3DS eShop. Check out more visual novel coverages here.
